FEMA Corporation was one of the first companies in the mobile fluid power industry to run full validation and verification as they developed new products for specific applications. Given our aerospace background, FEMA was way ahead of the curve in terms of validating products analytically and then in the laboratory.

Testing has been ongoing for decades, dating back to 1968. The rationale was simple. Designing a great product with full validation means success in the field with our customers. Successful applications led to the generation of even more business. Our full battery of testing included shock and vibration(including sinusoidal and random), life contamination robustness, accelerated contamination validation, endurance and fatigue cycling, full performance including hysteresis and step response, frequency analysis and bode plots for system integration. Our lab is able to run 24 – 7 with safety features including offsite monitoring.
